Well, I hope yesterday’s post (Some days it is hard to adult but we must have faith) on cleaning closets and having faith inspired you to move and do something! I even worked on more cleaning and organizing yesterday. That is what you call prime-time motivation, my friends.

Today, I’ll be visiting the boys’ classrooms to be a guest reader for America Reads. I LOVE this day! I always bring a few of my favorite children’s books to read aloud and of course…I bring a snack for them. #chocolatechipcookies

Later on this afternoon, I’ll make some Halloween bars for Grandma Helen’s Fall Party, which is tonight. It’s a day full of doing good things. 🙂

And now, it’s time for a little fashion. For women. AND men. Fun Friday Favorites begins now…

1. Prana Men’s Contemporary Dover shirt at Von Maur –

A great shirt for work or going out

Well, isn’t this spiffy? It’d look great to wear to work with some dress pants or throw it on with jeans and head out for a night on the town. Wait. Does that even happen anymore once you hit your forties? Just wondering…

2. Bugatchi plaid sport shirt with convertible cuffs at Von Maur –

Love this.

I realize this is a steep price, but wait for Von Maur to mark them down significantly and you have yourself a nice shirt. I’ve boughten Patrick a few of these (when on sale) and they are great! I love the different pattern on the cuff…adds a nice touch.

3. Ralph Lauren Straight-Fit Five Pocket Chino pants at Von Maur –

The best khaki jean. Period.

These khaki jeans. They are great and wash and wear well. They are dressy, yet not too dressy. Hubby wears these to work and we’ve been happy with them for years. Definitely a recommendation worth checking out.

4. Jolt Knit Leggings at Von Maur –

Jolt leggings are the best!

I have two pairs of these leggings and they are my fav. They have detail on the back (pockets) and the front has faux pockets, adding a little zip to your basic legging. I’ve worn mine a lot already this fall.

5. Merona denim tunic at Target –

Target has done well. This is a classic.

Well. I know I’ve highlighted this before, but it’s worth discussing again. I’ve worn this with the black leggings and it’s such a classic look. The tunic is long enough to cover the necessary places. Throw on some brown boots and you’ve got yourself a classic look.

6. Merona long sleeve V t-shirt at Target –

Stripes? So cute.

I don’t want to brag, but…I got this shirt the other day and it was on sale for $8.00. I was so proud of my bargain shopping. Love the colors, the stripes, and it is soooo comfy.

7. Frye Veronica Slouch Boots at Von Maur –

These boots. LOVE.

Oh. My. These might be my favorite boots. EVER. They’ll never go out of style and look at the supple leather…just perfect for wearing with black leggings or skinny jeans.

8. Bandolino Coloradee tall riding boots at Von Maur –

Great boots

These boots look great, too. The perfect brown to wear with all of your fall and winter ouftfits. I love the detail at the top, too.
