It’s been another glorious week around our house. Track club started for Nate, of course we’ve got the everyday going to school business for the boys, me subbing a few days, eye appointments, Hubby super busy with work, Daisy loving her walks, Max celebrating Dr. Seuss Week at school with special dress-up days (pajama day and hat day to name a few) and me getting a new phone. Let me repeat that last one… I GOT A NEW PHONE! (Can you tell? That’s been my highlight of the week. Yah for me…a phone that doesn’t glitch!!) That’s been our life lately.
And how about this weather?? This weather…it’s giving me spring fever like no other! I am love, love, loving the sunshine.
I love these sunshine-y days!
Makes me wanna pack up and go somewhere warm for spring break. Except that’s not happening right now. We’ll be in good ‘ol Iowa when the boys have their week off from school. #sigh #Californiadreamin #oranywherewarmdreamin

With spring a few weeks away, I thought I’d share some shoes that you need in your life. I bought these slip-on Converse sneakers the other day at Von Maur because Converse are my favorite shoes to throw on for a casual look. And this pink. Absolutely springy and adorbs. Even if you’re not a pink fan, you’ll love this soft color for spring and summer. But WARNING. Get them now because this is Von Maur’s spring fashion line and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

So, those Toms I posted up earlier in this post…they come in black, too. Wouldn’t they go great with this top? Perfect with some black or gray jeans. And in the summer, this top would be cute with some white shorts.
5. Track club –
Nate at track practice
On Sunday evening, we started track practice. Nate loves track (and so do I) and we’re super pumped for the upcoming track season. He’ll run track with a track club out of Iowa City and Nate will run with his middle school team, too. This is a favorite this week because we love track!!
6. Maxim’s team winning the championship –
We missed his teammates Pierson, Mason, Micah, and Coach Brant.
Last Saturday, Max and his basketball team had their last tournament of the season. And THEY WON! This is definitely a favorite! So happy to see his team have a successful basketball season!
7. Daisy May –
Daisy being dog-gone lazy 🙂
This beagle is always one of our favorites. Sis (one of the many names we call Daisy) has been loving this warmer weather, too. Going on walks, chatting with her doggie buddies, and the other day, she was basking in the sun on our deck. #rufflife
