Did everyone make it through Cupid’s Day? If you were like me, then yesterday at 4:35, you were out doing some last minute shopping. Hey, no judging please. I was happily teaching third graders all day in Max’s classroom😊.
Therefore, going on a field trip to Scheel’s wasn’t in the lesson plans so I had to take that little field trip after school hours. (And I thought I was prepared for Valentine’s Day…hahaha) The boys and I picked up a sweatshirt for Hubby and then, swung through Papa Murphy’s for a heart shaped pizza all in record time.
We had a nice, relaxing Valentine’s evening. The boys opened their homemade cards that I made at 11:57 p.m. the night before, loved all of the gifts they opened, and we ate yummy pizza. The only thing missing was a tasty dessert. You see, I managed to have ingredients to make four recipes of DELICIOUS Valentine goodies and then, proceeded to not make a single one. #winning
But I did tell the boys that I’ll get to baking those Strawberry Cupcakes in the next day or two. Assuming they’ll be the best ever cupcakes, I’ll pass on the recipe soon.
Here’s what else we’ve been up to lately…
Over the weekend, we rode our snowmobiles A LOT. We were thrilled to finally have enough snow around here to ride in. #weloveoursleds

After church on Sunday, I had to stop by CVS because STUFFED UP NOSE and THE CRUD. And you know what? Dunkin Donuts is right. next. door. Of course, we did what any good person would do and went through the drive-thru to pick up a dozen of happiness.
Sunday, Max had a basketball tournament and they missed being tournament champs by one point. This team of third grade boys continues to amaze me. They’ve been together three years and continue to get better and better. And the families…they are so much fun to be with!
Okay. This picture deserves so much more of an explanation, but I’ll save it for it’s own blog post sometime. It’s super funny, I promise. #gamemom
Monday night, we began the Bible study I’ve written Finding God’s Grace in This Messy World at Scooters Coffee House. You guys, I am so excited to get this into people’s hands! It’s a four week study and soon, it’ll be available to all of YOU!! Continue to stay tuned as we work out the purchasing details, the Facebook Live videos, etc…
And that’s life lately. See you tomorrow for Fun Friday Favorites!
